Diese Me-

Energieheilung – Studie an entwicklungsgestörten Kindern

, sagt Frau Day.

weislich keinen Schaden an.

senschaftlichen Studienergebnisse ohne Beweiskraft gewesen, da auf Einzelfälle be-

Frau Day stellte ähnliche Veränderungen an ihrem älteren Sohn Malcolm fest.

In unserer alltäglichen Weltanschauung ergeben mystische Botschaften
keinen Sinn.

In Gottes vollkommenem Menschenent-

Clairvoyance – family gift

  • When I was in my early 20s, I had two small boys, and they started seeing auras. They didn't have the word "aura". They called it "fuzz". And one day when they were talking back and forth with each other and talking about the "fuzz" around the dog, and "fuzz" around the plants and "fuzz" around my mother – apparently Grandma had "fuzz" – I decided maybe I better find out what they were talking about. And from hanging out with them, I think, I started seeing auras. It would be quite a few years later when I would realize that actually my great grandmother had taught me to see auras. But it was something that was not well thought of, by my family. And so we sort of "hid" – those of us that had this sort of special-
ness, we would talk to each other about it but not with other family members. I mean, it was pretty clear you weren't supposed to talk about it in front of strangers. Interview with Rev. Rosalyn L. Bruyere (*1946) US American energy healer,

Spiritualist training

  • [W]hen I finally found someone who even knew what an aura was, I met a woman who happened to be a spiritualist, and she became my teacher for two years. She taught me a lot about chakras and auras. And I was interested in not so much the spiritualism so much, but I was interested in the healing aspect. Because that part made sense to me, because I was
an electrical engineer in college. So the science of it was fascinating, and it had all of these unanswered postulations. Now this would have been 1971. So this was before acupuncture became common, meditation was a word you had
to explain. And the word "aura" itself meant how something smelled. Interview with Rev. Rosalyn L. Bruyere (*1946) US American energy healer, aura reader, spiritual teacher, white honorary medicine woman, founder of The Healing Light Center Church, Sierra Madre, California, Part 1, presented by Adele Wang, US American practitioner of Reiki, energy medicine, EFT, anxiety specialist, 2. Rolf/Hunt study, 1977

  • I went to UCLA and did some research under Dr. Valerie Hunt, who was the head of kinesiology at UCLA. [...]
[W]e were in a laboratory trying to measure something, and with regular EMT recording equipment that was measuring frequencies that hadn't been available to be measured before. And that's
how we managed to capture it. [Part 1]
In 1976 at UCLA, we took 10 really skilled aura readers into a lab. And that was the problem we were working on for two weeks. What we found was that green was not green to everybody, brown was not brown to everybody. [Part 2] Interview with Rev. Rosalyn L. RB
Rosalyn Bruyere, healing a patient
  • I mostly, for spiritual advice and help, read novels, because in a novel there is a conclusion at the end of a novel where good overcomes evil. And along the way those characters are fighting or portraying the good versus evil conflict, and I actually get more of the spiritual lessons out of novels usually than I do out of spiritual books that only talk about the light or psychological books that only talk about the dark. Where you have the whole package is in literature where you have good versus evil all the time. If I get depressed I want something simplistic as Sherlock Holmes, if I'm not depressed I want something more complicated. And I think many people are the same way. Audio interview with Rev. Healing principle, healers' codependency with patients

  • If you put yourself into an excellent herd your excellence level goes up.
You have to give all you so can to be refilled. […] The more you keep pouring out the more you get because you are creating a vacuum in your system to take in the new. […]
If you're with patients you can't help you'll get sick.
If you're with patients you can help you get better and better and better. [...] Three quarters of the time I have to
be doing something where I see the success. [...]
Codependency exists so that we'll have these healing professions. If you are not codependent you probably don't belong into the [healing] field. Even though at an interpersonal level copedependency can really be a drag, healers are codependent with our patients, our reason for getting out of bed the next day. And being a woman of an age and having been married more than once there were a lot of days when being a healer made me a better person, because my life was making me a much worse person. […] The thing that charges us instantly and automatically is seeing somebody's suffering going away.

Bridging Healing and Science

  • I understand what my role is. I've always understood that I'm the bridge bet-
    ween the healers
, who may not know how to talk science, and the scientists
who don't know how to talk healing. I've always been that person. And it's a privilege to be there. Because I'm with people who are brilliant in both worlds.

  • I can’t emphasize enough to energy healers that you must understand energy theory. Healing is not going to become more religious, it is going to become more technical. You have to be able to explain what it is you do. Rev. Rosalyn L. You're the messiah.

  • John the Baptist (6 BC-36 AD) [is] telling the priesthood, 'No, I am not the Messiah,' because that was the first one they were worried about being the Messiah. […] So, in good form Jesus comes into Jerusalem and says, 'No, I am not the Messiah either.' You know why? You're the messiah. You're the messenger. When you accept the duty, the responsibility to become the mission, it's you speaking out, it's our voice, it's your message. Rev. Rosalyn L. Energy terminology

  • Just because you're a healer doesn't mean you understand energy. Most people don't understand how their car works, but they drive every day. There're a lot of things that we don't fully understand that we use. And not everybody has to understand everything. But it's really helpful if some people understand something. And we don't have a decent lan-
    guage
for energy, which is why we’ve incorporated so many Sanskrit terms, so many Chinese terms, so many Native American terms. We have all these terms that we’ve hijacked into the language of healers, so that the healers can try
to talk to each other about what they do. Interview with Rev. Rosalyn L. Bruyere (*1946) US American energy healer, aura reader, spiritual teacher, white honorary medicine woman, founder of The Healing Light Center Church, Sierra Madre, California,

Miracles

  • Most of us healers have seen the so-called "miraculous healings." And I always think that a miracle is something in due course we might understand. We don't know if we will, but we might. […]
You have a miracle happen one day, under your hands. You know you didn't do it. You know God did it.
You know it's your job now, because God just gave you an assignment. "I did a miracle, now you figure it out and re-
plicate it." If you keep relying just on faith to do it, there's a diminishing return. Because you're not using all the gifts that God gave you, to engage with God. Interview with Rev. Rosalyn L. Merging of science and spirituality

  • It has taken thousands of years, but within this century both scientists and spiritual seekers alike have once again begun to view the laws of nature and the laws of God as reflections of the same truth. It is this viewpoint that has allowed for scientific investigations into the nature of the chakra system and the aura and the relationship between them and the mind. Rev. Rosalyn L. Aura

  • From antiquity there has been a myriad of literary and pictorial descriptions of the aura. Sometimes it has been depicted as a luminous radiation surrounding the body. Frequently, it has been pictured as a kind of light around the head – which some religious traditions call a halo. Most of us are familiar with paintings of haloed Christian saints. In earlier Chinese and Japanese art, a single and sometimes a triple halo surrounds the head of images of the bodhisattva or Buddha.
In ancient Egyptian culture, the aura was often depicted as wings enfolding the body. In Native American tradition,
the radiant aura of the buffalo has given rise to the legend of the white buffalo. When Matthew (17:2) describes the
transfiguration of Christ, he says that Jesus's face "did shine as the sun," and "his raiment was white as the light."
Luke (9:29) adds that Jesus's raiment was "glistering." This is a Biblical description of Christ's aura, which the Apost-
les Peter, James, and John were able to see when they were taken by their Master to a mountain just prior to his
    crucifixion.
People who are able to see auras have often reported seeing a kind of luminous radiation surrounding an individual,
usually consisting of one or sometimes several colors. We now know that the aura, or auric field, relates to the electro-
magnetic field, which emanates from all matter. This field of energy, which usually extends five or six inches around
the body, is outside the range of normal vision and in what is sometimes termed the realm of psychic sight. But even
those who can't see the aura can still have an experience of it. The aura is what keeps us from bumping our shopping
carts into one another in the supermarket. It's what allows us to sense another's presence in a darkened room, and
it's what makes someone turn to look at us across a crowded room. Rev. Rosalyn L. Bruyere (*1946) US American energy healer, aura reader, spiritual teacher, white honorary medicine woman, founder of "The Healing Light Center Church", Sierra Madre, California, Wheels of Light, Touchstone, 12. April 1994

  • Not long after my involvement with The Rolf Study, I had an opportunity to put those research findings into practice and to learn even more, this time from the Native American culture, when I was asked to heal one of the Hopi tribal elders, Grandfather David Monongya. He was in Los Angeles to raise consciousness regarding the strip mining at Big Moun-
tain, site of one of the first conflicts over the Hopi-Navajo tribal land. Grandfather David had cataracts. I laid hands on his body and very quickly moved to his head and laid hands on his eyes. He seemed to know exactly what I was doing. About the time I was actually beginning to accomplish something that I felt was healing, he said, "Oh, I see much better now. Please sit down." Of course I had not healed him, and in a manner of speaking, as it turned out, I ended up recei-

the Hopi prophecy. […] I was stunned by the similarities between the story of the Apocalypse in Revelation and the pre-
dictions for the "end time" in Hopi.

Hopi prophecies

See also: 20 July 1969

  • "The secret mysteries of the People," foretold by the Hopis a thousand years ago, "shall be made known when the sons of white men wear beads and long hair. The truth of the Sacred Ways shall be revealed when the Eagle lands on the moon."[20] Any of us who remember the sixties and NASA's moon flights know that these events have already come to pass.

  • People who do not have the "spiritual nervous system" (the chakra system) awakened are half alive.
They are alive on the output; they are not alive on the intake.
They feel only when they are active, only when they are "putting out"; they do not feel anything else.
They live life in a numbed state.

Trauma

  • Data that goes into the subconscious during a trauma cannot be released from the subconscious until a shift of the same magnitude or intensity is again attained. As a result, though we might be able to recall the traumatic event, we cannot change any attitude we may have toward the experience (trauma). Neither can we alter how we feel or release the experience until we reach the amplitude of the original traumatic event again. Rev. Rosalyn L. Bruyere (*1946) US American energy healer, aura reader, spiritual teacher, white honorary medicine woman, founder of "The Healing Light Center Church", Sierra Madre, California, Wheels of Light, chapter 9 ''Traumas and DC Shifts: Access To The Subconscious", S. 187, Touchstone, 12. Pollution via air, noise, or people

  • We are no less affected by air pollution, noise pollution, or people pollution [...] if we are exposed to negative energies for long enough, the potential results will be detrimental to our health – physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. Collagen

  • [W]hat we did learn, in all those years of doing energy research, is that the energy actually flows on the collagen in the body. The meridians go through the collagen, and the chakras are a manifestation of collagen. And so, because it's so collagen based, we of course do very well with collagen disease. So all the things that arthritic or some of the tissue damage to organs – we're very good with that. Probably the biggest challenge for all healers, because it's something we've all seen far too much of in our career, is cancer. Interview with Rev. Rosalyn L. Bruyere (*1946) US American energy healer, aura reader, spiritual teacher, white honorary medicine woman, founder of "The Healing Light Center Church", Sierra Madre, California, Part 1, presented by Adele Wang, US American Reiki, energy medicine, EFT, anxiety specialist, 2. Continous self improvement

  • [W]e want an instant cure. And we don’t care if we don't understand how it works. We just want the results. Well, people get impatient at healers too. I mean, those of us who are healers have had to work on ourselves from the very beginning. You bump up against the shallowness of your culture. […]
[P]eople of quality have to work on themselves forever. Interview with Rev. Rosalyn L. Science

  • [T]he general public wants to believe that science has all the answers. That means they've defined science wrong. Science is the study of something. It's not a conclusion of something. Both rigor and surrender: paradoxical healer tools

  • I think that rigor is good. And I think surrender is good. And I think you need both. I don't think a healer is a one-trick pony. And I don't think we can say, "This happened because of surrender" – no, it doesn't happen because of surrender – it happens because actually we don't know why it happened. And if you're honest about the fact that, no matter how far you go in understanding, there's still more mystery than understanding. If you grow up and cope with the paradox.
I think probably the big danger for healers is if they only want to have faith and run energy and not know anything, they're only going to do one technique or one process. They're not going to master the variety of things that a full-
blown healer needs to know. Interview with Rev. Rosalyn L. Bruyere (*1946) US American energy healer, aura reader, spiritual

Choosing wisely – breaking through one's internalized primacy bias

The "flaw in God's perfect design of humans" is called the 'recency and primacy bias effects'.

  • It's hard to break out of the mindset of what you were taught because you loved your teachers and you took them in whole. And there's a flaw in God's perfect design of humans that whatever you learned first becomes the most important and everything that you learn after has to fight with what you learned first. But it's very important to trust your feelings. Everyone of us can remember a time where we have made a huge mistake because we didn't trust our feelings. I call it my first marriage. […] I agree, it's hard to choose wisely, but it's important to do it. What the Goddess energies teach us is to wait until you know what action to take. What our [male dominated] culture teaches
us is "Do it now!" Often, if you do it now, it gives you an opportunity to do it over and over again until you get it right.

The anthropogenic climate change narrative is off.

  • Would you say our weather has changed? I've been traveling all over the world for forty years. No matter where I go they tell me the weather is unusual for this time of the year. The Goddess knows if the weather is right or not. Of course, the weather is changing. Have you noticed Mother Earth is in menopause? And she's having hot flashes and chills. And global warming is not caused from your automobile. It's caused from all of you exhaling. So we can stop it if we all hold our breath. So what I see happening in the world is people are being panicky about global warming. And they're pretending this has never happened before. At least here [in Europe] you remember that there was a Little Ice Age 500 years ago. Wasn't that a big weather change? I am not saying that pollution is okay, it is definitely not. I know this because
I'm a healer. The more my patients don't put pollution in their body the easier they are to heal. […]
One of the topics that will become very important in the next fifty years is materialism. You'll have a master's degree soon in sustainability. It means being conscious of how much we waste. It's a field now that will grow and grow over the next fifty years. Traditionally it's the feminine part of the soul that looks ahead to see if we have enough for winter. Video presentation by Rev. Dealing with visions and appearances

  • If Jesus came to you in a vision and told you what to do, would you do it? Some of you are saying 'yes.' I can tell you from experience the answer is 'no.' Some of you would call a friend, some of you would call a psychiatrist, some of you would wait to be told a second time and a third time and a fourth time, because it doesn't make sense the way we understand the world. Religious people think that they're going to have an experience and then they'll behave as though they had the experience but it's not true. What the goddess says is: "Have the [mystical] experience, wait and see what happens." Video presentation by Rev. Rosalyn L. Crucible education – Healer training

  • [W]e need to have places where healers go to work with each other, on each other. You know, I'm a scholar of ancient history, and the Egyptians had this fascinating system, where all the people in the priesthood went away for 30 days. And they basically did their prayer meditation and worked on each other and then they went back to their villages. And that is such a wonderful process, of having a chance to spend time with fellow seekers. And to build it into your life, in a way that makes sense. I do a program in Germany which I’ve been doing for 20 years. A lot of my students spend 2 weeks with me in the spring and 2 weeks with me in the fall. So they spend 4 weeks with me, where we discuss different topics, where we work on each other. They're long days for me. I work from 10:00 in the morning to 11:00 at night, every day. The effect of energy

  • The elephant in the room is, that energy touches everything. It's just a matter of 'Are you manipulating it?' or 'Is it manipulating you?' […] The most important thing is that we go back and embrace maybe the earth itself as an energy field for all of us. Certainly healers use the earth's magnetic field in what we do. We consciously manipulate that. Deleted video interview with Rev. Rosalyn L. Bruyere, Rosalyn L. • Humans gravitate towards beauty. […] The intellect says, 'That's not important. I wanna be smart.' But the right brain says, 'You could be smart and pretty. You could be inclusive.' When the left brain interprets the right brain, the left brain tells you very pointedly that the left is logical, the right is dreamy. The right is not, it's synthetic. The right [brain's] job is to put everything back together, the left to find the piece, the right to reconstruct the whole. Political correctness – civic courage – positivity – conscience

  • When you cannot criticize an action because you'll be accused of being more evil than the evil you're pointing out because you're [called] a hater then nobody will point it out anymore because nobody wants to take the heat for that process [of civic courage]. […] I am warning you that you can't let your positivity lead your conscience, only your consciousness. And you have to separate consciousness from conscience. You do not want to be a person without conscience, you want to be a person of conscience. And if you want to save future generations of women all over the world you probably have to stand up. […] If you want to cripple a society take the brain power out of half the population [women in patriarchal societies]. […] You have to vote with your feet, your heart and your hands. You have to vote by action. […] Confrontation isn't always the answer, but sometimes it is. [...] That courage you have to go against the trend is the courage you have to have now to live every day, because you have to reestablish freedom of thought. Rev. Rosalyn L. • Spiritualists are called to serve as the emissaries between the worlds.
We are the people who have the best understanding of resurrection. […]
The Bible says that you will die and be resurrected every day – for the rest of your life. That something bad will happen and it will kill something in you. And the thing [hope] it kills has to be resurrected. […]
That particular part of hope has to be resurrected and the PTSD you've got from it put behind you. Or you will find the next person to reenact that pain, because that’s what you are carrying the vibration of the trauma. You're not carrying the hope, you're not carrying the future, and you're not carrying what you want – you are carrying your past. Sometimes what gets broken is a family, sometimes it is your heart, sometimes it's an illness. What happens when you are despa-
rately ill is that you either turn away from God or you turn to God. And many people turn away [from God].

Betrayal ⇔ more honest company

Biblical reference: "Outwardly you look like righteous people, but inwardly your hearts are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness. Matthew 23, 28 (NT) New Living Translation

  • If someone betrays you need [to figure out] two things:
    1. you need to look at who the betrayers are and why they betray, and
    2. you need to find the people that are more honest, just more honest, not with you neccessarily.
The key to finding an honest person is [to inquire], "Are they honest with themselves?"
That by the way is in Matthew.

  • As we explore the aura and the chakras, it is important for us to view our journey not as revolutionary, but rather as very traditional. Chakras, as well as auras and electromagnetic fields, are as old as the earth itself. The chakra system, in fact, is a part of the ancient and lost mysteries. And, in the end, the chakra system in our bodies is how we find our way back to the most ancient mystery of all – God, the Oneness, the Omniscient. Rev. Rosalyn L. Bruyere (*1946)

The evolution of the healing profession

  • My teachers suffered to give me what they gave me. [...] I suffered more than the newer people do. [...] Olga Worrell (1906-1985) was jailed twice for being a healer. That doesn't happen to us any more. [...]
Where are the teachers that are going to teach us some humility, some service? [...] We all carry our own psychological baggage. [...] Somebody has to tell you 'Stop worrying about yourself all the time. Do something outside yourself and see what happens to yourself.' Minute 5:14 / minute 20:14

(↓)

Selfless service ⇔ selfishness

  • In the metaphysical world – if we are not careful – we are going to go back to a time where selflessness is no longer being taught and selfishness starts to be approved of. At the same time you're approving of it you're kind of shoving selflessness out the door. Minute 19:02

(↓)

Psychology ⇔ spirituality

  • Psychology and spirituality [energy healing] are a bad marriage, and their divorce is even worse. [...] We can't erase all the Freudians and their influence. There is nobody in the civilized world that doesn't know some notion of psychology whether it's accurate or not. It's in all the literature, it's in our common conversation. We are not going to get rid of it. Minute 19:39

Active prayer

  • Prayer is not always seen as active, but if you're cleaning the wounds of a leper that's a form of prayer. That's an act of contrition. [...] For some people it's the only meditation they can do. Or a walking meditation for instance. Give your body a monotonous task – walking – and then your brain finally clears itself out. [...] A lot of pilgrimages are like that. A lot of my German students make that pilgrimage through Spain [Road to Santiago]. They come back just lit up, they are amazingly changed. Minute 22:00

Mediumship and channeling

  • A channel basically can stay clear for just over an hour if they are really well trained and they are really well grounded. If the grounding goes the message goes wonky. If the room is not receptive the message goes wonky. […] When I read the channeled material that's being produced now I realize that what’s missing from so many of the books that the medium wasn't trained. They didn’t have the muscles for it. They hadn't done it long enough or thoroughly enough to hang on to the message. They didn’t have the discipline to notice when the message drifted and either pull it back or stop.
    Minute 35:34

Definition of Healing ⇔ modern medicine

  • Healing is the process a healer takes a patient through that gives them the tools to never have a recurrence of their disease. So if they fall ill again they already know the way back out of illness because they'd have enough pieces in the process. They have psychological tools and intellectual tools as well as physical tools.
We began grappling with how we were going to transfer this information back into medicine. I found hundreds of cases in medicine in the last 100 years where all of this was in medicine and gradually got taken out. Doctors barely palpate the body any more. Doctors used to be taught how to touch the body and diagnose. They depend on X-rays different [other forms of technology]. Minute 29:38

Appearances by Jesus and Mary

  • When I was first studying and didn't know what I was going to do I actually had a visitation from Christ. And that shaped my whole mission. […] Throughout my career once in a while it's Mary that appears but more often than not it's Jesus that appears for not three minutes and tells me what the next mission is. When Mary appeared to me in the chapel dedicated to her in Nazareth many years ago she said to me, "You will write a book about me, and you will meet the other people writing books about me. There are seven of them, and you will meet all seven of them before you die." I've met six. I'm sure I am not going to die yet because I haven't met the seventh. She told me what to do, she told me what I was going to study. And then the whole world around me changed. […] And the appearances happen every seven to nine years. Several of them have been in my backyard.
Christianity itself has downplayed the spiritual potential that is hidden within it. I think that Jesus knew what he was channeling. I am sure that Mary knew what she was channeling. I am sure the disciples were taught how to channel. And people in some parts of religion still know. In some of the so called lower forms of Christianity people still channel and heal and speak in tongues, but it's not as prevalent as it would have been in early Christianity. […] I can understand that when I am with other Christians who are frightened by what I do why they are frightened. The responsibility of it is absolutely awesome. Minute 44:29

  • It is really important that we find peace between two different ideals right now.  minute 1:45

We're not going to be the same when our current situation is finished. [...] This time there is over 300 million people in our country alone who are not going to be the same. [...] We are not going to live the same way. [...] We're going to live a new reality.  minute 7:55

Corona panic-demic 2020

  • We're being surrounded right now by people who are very, very afraid. The amount of fear that you can feel if you go out in public is astonishing. The way not to participate in fear is to already by participating in something good. So by participating in praying and sending energy and light I am not caught up or even tempted to be caught up in these energies that are flying all around me. [...] I don't find worrying about other people worrying a spiritual practice.  Minute 10:14

Quotes on Rosalyn Bruyere and her mentors

  • For the next few months, I returned to Sierra Madre and after five treatments, the phlebitis disappeared. My veins receded and my leg had shrunk in circumference. I stopped taking blood thinners, against my internist's advice, and in the two years that have elapsed, I have not had a single attack. […]
I felt certain Rosalyn had healed my phlebitis. But was it the "energy" that came through her hands? Was it the power of suggestion, or could it have been a case of spontaneous healing, as many doctors would suggest? Was it the placebo effect, the body's most powerful demonstration of its ability to heal itself regardless of whether it's receiving antibiotics or sugar water? Article by Sara Davidson, US American publicist, journalist, author, Energy Magic – Healer Rosalyn Bruyere, presented by the O, The Oprah Magazine, 2001

It took five treatments with Rosalyn Bruyere and a mysterious healing journey for Sara Davidson to be healed.

  • Rosalyn Lee Bruyere can reconnect a damaged optic nerve with psychic surgery and restore a woman's eye to sight before an astonished crowd of 500 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. She casually dissolves a tumor the size of a large lime in the throat of an oil-company executive by running energy into it for 15 minutes. She can accurately diagnose illness by gazing at the pulsating colored lights around people's bodies that are as visible to her as clothing is to the rest of us.
But what really knocks you out is the realization that this 32-year-old ex-supermarket checker and divorcée with two kids who dresses like some uptown San Fernando Valley house-
wife may genuinely have the capability to bridge the yawning chasm between the objective world of science and medicine and the subjective nether regions of the metaphysical and the miraculous. The former motorcycle racer nicknamed "Razzle Dazzle Roz" (because when she speaks in public she sounds more rock & roll queen than psychic) can explain what she does just as easily in terms of quantum physics as she can in the classical traditions of ancient mysticism. In doing so she has drawn the attention of the dubious but fascinated medical establishment. Rosalyn Bruyere is making psychic healing respectable. Article Body and Soul, excerpted from Rosalyn Bruyere: Seeing, touching, healing, Celeste Fremon,

  • Dr. Valerie Hunt and her colleagues at UCLA, conducted a study to determine the effects of Rolfing on the body and the psyche. Rolfing is a system of soft tissue manipulation, with the objective of realigning the body structurally and harmonizing its fundamental movement patterns in relation to gravity (description taken from Wikipedia). She placed electrodes on the skin to record the low millivoltage signals from the body during rolfing sessions. Rosalyn Bruyere observed the auras and recorded her observations of both the rolfer and the patient by describing the color, size, and energy movements of the chakras, and auric clouds, or human energy field (HEF), involved.
The wave forms and frequencies reported by Rosalyn Bruyere correlated specifically with the colors reported by the electronic measurements. For example, when Bruyere saw blue in the HEF at a specific location, the electronic measurements would show the characteristic blue wave form and frequency at that location. […]
Hunt repeated this experiment with seven other aura readers. Each of the seven also saw auric colors that correlated with the same frequency wave patterns. In 1988, the results of their research showed these color and frequency correlations. Dr. Hunt says, "Throughout the centuries in which sensitives have seen and described the auric emissions, this is the first objective electronic evidence of frequency, amplitude and time, which validates their subjective observation of color discharge."

  • [Bruyere] had a big insight at one point that made a difference in her work. She realized we had been using the wrong metaphor in thinking of the nervous system as electrical wiring. When electricity propa-
gates along a copper wire, it travels through the wire, or inside it. Free electrons move from one copper atom to the next.
But, with the nervous system, she says the sig-
nal travels on the outside of the nerve.
This is the "Action Potential." Electrically-charged sodium and potassium ions trade places across the neuron membrane, and propagate an electrical impulse along the membrane. She said "it's like a wire, but inside out." The signal travels outside the nerve, not inside. Interview with Rev. Rosalyn L. • One begins to realize that electricity actually flows in the space around wires, in the aetherous space, not in the actual metal of the wires themselves, which in reality reflect and repel magnetism. This amazing realization is further proof of the existence of the Aether. As Scientists we must think critically on how such as massive deception could continue for over a hundred years. Eric P. • With auburn hair, a big aura, and a big sense of humor, Bruyere is literally and metaphorically larger than life. Born just after the end of World War II, Bruyere knows more about the anatomy of the human aura than almost anyone practicing energy healing today, at least in the West. In more than thirty years of practice, she has laid hands on thousands of people suffering from everything from cataracts and arthritis to cancer and AIDS. She also is a scholar and practitioner of the esoteric teachings of nearly every faith, including the religions of ancient Egypt, Hinduism, various Native American tribes, the Bonpo of Tibet, and Christianity.
Bruyere, the founder of the "Healing Light Center Church" in Los Angeles, keeps a low profile, but she has quietly treated some of the top stars in Hollywood, including Cher, Barbra Streisand, James Coburn, Frank Zappa, director Martin Scorsese, and, at the very end of his life, Sammy Davis, Jr. When Ellen Burstyn needed someone
to teach her hands-on healing for the movie Resurrection, she turned to Bruyere, who acted as a technical adviser on the film. Bruyere has also been called on to counsel children abused by a satanic cult; to help, unofficially, in police work; and to use her clairvoyance to locate bombs when Los Angeles hosted the Olympic games.
Stories of Bruyere's healing prowess are legion. I myself have seen her separate the fused spinal vertebrae of a young minister when doctors urged surgery, release the pain of a student's rectal surgery and the underlying childhood sexual abuse that Bruyere believed caused the pain, and elicit a long-repressed childhood incident in a young man merely because of the way the pattern of his aura shifted during a lecture. Students study with her for years without consis-
tently getting the same effects in their own healing practices.
"An everyday healing for Rosalyn is mind-blowing for everyone else," says Deborah East Keir, a registered nurse who has studied with Bruyere for more than a dozen years. Yet Bruyere never promises or predicts an outcome. She ad-
vises clients to follow their doctors' orders, urges them to have necessary surgeries, and never claims healing is a panacea for all physical ailments. Students of hers are no different from the rest of us. They have open heart surgery and hysterectomies. Bruyere herself sometimes limps from an arthritic hip. "On a good day," she likes to say, "you
    get a healing."

Bruyere has influenced most of the healers in the United States, including many of the nurses who have studied Hea-
ling Touch, one school of energy healing. Even Barbara Brennan, who runs the largest school for "healing science,"
briefly studied with Bruyere and teaches the techniques she learned from her. Recognition of her gift crosses color
lines and nationalities. The Sioux and the Hopi consider Bruyere a medicine woman. And the Bonpo, a pre-Buddhist
Tibetan group, regard her as the living embodiment of a 4,000-year-old prophecy. Unlike some other American tea-
chers, Bruyere has never trademarked or labeled her techniques, which derive from ancient traditions; she believes
that anyone can channel the techniques and that these techniques cannot be owned by any one person.
Bruyere has been poked and wired and tested and quizzed by scientists at UCLA and at the Menninger Clinic, where
biofeedback was developed. Nobody has definitively measured subtle energy, what the Chinese call chi, or life
    force
. But when Bruyere works on patients, she sometimes has voltage surges in the electrical potential on her
skin that scientists cannot explain. Her brain wave pattern is typically theta, the pattern associated with a deep
sleep state, but one that is also found in long-time meditators, yogis, and healers
. "She lives and walks around
    in the dream world,"
says Nancy Needham, a healer in New Hampshire and an elder in Bruyere's church.

  • Each chakra holds the energy of a specific set of emotions and organs. If there is any flaw in our thinking (psychological) or in our body (physiological), then this would be reflected in the corresponding chakra as an improper flow of energy, manifested as a misalignment or as a hole.
Rev. Bruyere also points out the origin of this force — the auric field. Energy is neither created nor destroyed; it is just transformed. In her opinion the earth's magnetic field is the major source of energy that flows in and out of our chakra system. Again, there are no scientific discoveries that have correlated auras and chakras. Almost all information comes from energy healers that see and feel both, and they do not see and feel the same thing. Generally speaking, energy healers interpret the auric field as a multilay-ered biofield that surrounds the physical body. • If placebo effects occur from everything – from acupuncture to surgery – then who's right about how healing works? Is it the biochemical molecular model camp? Or is it the complementary medicine camp? The problem here really re-
flects our human tendencies to see things in "either or", in categories of "this or that". We adopt one way of thinking
and we believe that's the right approach. Somewhere in the middle actually lies the truth. The beauty of placebo is teaching us is that it doesn't negate all of the effects of medicine, whether it's modern medicine or complementary me-
dicine. […] What placebo is teaching us is it's not an or, it's an and. It's teaching us that what the ancients said thou-
sands of years ago. Our abilities to generate an influence, our own healing, are tremendous. If we could just build a
bridge between ancient wisdom and modern science we stand a chance to create a global model of healing that's far more complete and effective than anything we've ever done. And this bridging is already starting to happen.

Research into energy healing

H E A L I N G

Topic      Legend: Definitions • tenets • sources • states • relationships • background
Definitions of healing Healing comes from the Old English word haelan meaning whole and thus signifies the process of becoming more whole or assisting another in that endeavor, even during failing health or death. […] Additional nuances of the meaning of healing are
➤ increased order,         ➤ coherence,         ➤ temporality, and         ➤ balance.
Another prominent description of healing encompasses a journey of transformation in which there is transcendence of suffering
and new meanings are found. It is quite clear that healing is not synonymous with curing, which focuses on elimination of the signs and symptoms of disease.
Definition of energy healing Common terms used in the field of energy healing include energy healing, energy medicine, energy therapies,
laying on of hands, and spiritual healing. […] The spectrum of energy healing includes
  ➤ East Asian traditions, which include systems such as Reiki and qigong;
  ➤ Western professional traditions, such as TT and Healing Touch, often practiced by nurses;
➤ bioenergy traditions, a family of healing theories and methods originating primarily in Eastern Europe; and
➤ contemporary metaphysical traditions that include spiritual healers and are exemplified by well-known North American
healers such as Barbara Brennan; Rosalyn Bruyere; and Donna Eden, who all have eclectic backgrounds.
This diversity of practice challenges the traditional medical research process in which we are accustomed to specifying
a well-defined and uniform intervention.
Key tenets of energy healing practioners ✓ The existence of a universal life force or vital energy flowing through and available to all beings.
✓ The existence of a subtle energy system or biofield that interpenetrates the physical anatomy of the
human body and extends outward beyond it.
✓ The idea that in ill health, the human energetic field is out of balance or congested, free flow is blocked,
which diminishes the normal self-healing capacity.
✓ The belief that the practitioner can detect abnormalities in the energy system, sometimes before physical manifestations,
and restore the capacity for self-healing.
✓ The contention that the practitioner's conscious healing intent and compassion are essential to the effectiveness of therapy.
✓ The assertion that the healing outcome is not dependent on the client's beliefs.
Sources of healing energy [T]he healer must connect or come into resonance with a source of healing such as God, divine love, spirit, the universal life force, or the earth's energy. The healer then channels this energy from outside the self or acts as facilitator or conduit of this energy to which the client may help themselves. Others assert that healing comes more directly from an intervention of God, a mediation of spirits, or the assistance of other external agents. Some would situate the healing power with the healers who activate their hands and send a flow of energy.
Nature of the biofield [T]he aura or human biofield is an electromagnetic field that surrounds and interpenetrates the body. […] [I]n building theories of
the biofield, nonclassical fields described by the equations of quantum physics or the physics of nonlinear, dynamical, nonequili-
brium living systems
are also contributory. Work in theory and subtle energy detection may further illuminate mechanisms of action underpinning biofield energy healing.

Definitions of healers Zahourek defines healers as catalysts to a process that results in an integrated, balanced whole person. She further specifies
that healers employ the intentional influence of one person on another without known physical means of intervention. Archetypally, the healer has a desire to serve others; a focus on repair of mind, body, and spirit; and an ability to channel energy to this end. Cooperstein defines healers as those who beneficially affect the physiology of living organisms by laying on of hands, prayer, energy transfer, and shamanic or other mystical practices. […] [The healee] ideally should be affected: emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual wellbeing that can lead to increased wholeness.
Healers' personal journeys The healer may initially have innate sensibilities or unusual experiences for which they have no cultural frame or may experience an unaccountable summoning or calling to the work. This can lead to separation or isolation from family and community and intense personal suffering. The individual enters their "healership" as they begin a process of education and development of knowledge
about healing, often within a particular discipline. This is accompanied by personal introspection, growth, and ultimately transfor-
mation that leads them to heal themselves. They come to embody wholeness, practicing self-care physically, mentally, emotio-
nally, and spiritually, and committing to self-management of the ego and motivations. Their experiences bring them to a "radical empathy", with an ability for deep connection to others and desire to alleviate their suffering. They have mastered skills required for healing others and are able to reintegrate within their communities in a new role.
[*]
Healers' readiness to heal in the moment There is general consensus across disciplines that three major states within the healer are paramount to effective healing: compassion, focus, and intention.
  1. Compassion involves unconditional love, a desire to help, a deep caring, and a shared humanity. The healer meets clients
where they are and loves them for who they are in the moment.
  2. Focus includes authentic presence; concentration; being centered, grounded, and relaxed; getting the self out of the way;
reaching a mental stillness where the healer is aligned with the energy source, open and sensitive to altered perceptions.
  3. Intention aka volition includes intention for the client's wholeness and/or intention for the client's specific needs
      assessed in the moment.
Healers, because healing means the transfer of energy from one field to another as well as sometimes physically manipulating the client's body with energy, have found healing to be a physical [even athletic] endeavor and not one of thought and feeling alone.
Healer/client relationship The call for compassion and intention highlights the importance of relationship within the healing encounter. The healers intervie-
wed […] also spoke of compatibility and collaboration as critical to the process, as well as creating a sense of trust and adhering to ethical standards. Communication underpins the whole process, which includes setting the stage, sharing information during the treatment, and debriefing after the session. Likewise, Enzman Hines emphasizes connection and co-created relationships. Additionally there is an "energetic intimacy" or "shared consciousness of the transpersonal fields."
Client/healee contribution and perceptions People who are ill undergo threats to wholeness that generate suffering, involving physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of the person. Clients of energy healers come with a variety of needs and play an active role in the process that reflects an interplay of belief and "readiness to heal." Important beliefs include the belief in the healer or practice and the belief in the body's ability to heal. Readiness to heal includes a relaxed openness to the healing energy and to change, an intention or desire to heal, and a willingness to engage with the process and release suffering. Clients also have a kind of veto power in that they can "put up a wall" or block the healing. This negative response can change with experience.

P R E P A R E D   C O N S C I O U S N E S S

States of consciousness during healing The concept of focus encompasses a shifting state of consciousness from a concentration that is entered into purposefully with practice, meditation, prayer, or affirmations and keeping the healer's will out of the way to expanded, profound, or visionary
states of consciousness. These latter states might include access to spiritual entities, intuition, multiple realities, or experiences of the world of spirit, ineffable sensations, altered perceptions, and transcendence. In some electroencephalography (EEG) studies of healer-healee dyads, the healer's brain shifts to alpha waves and the healee's brain shifts to the same wave state. In a systematic review, EEG changes were inconsistent across studies, but in some forms of healing, heart rate variabi-
lity
shifted to a more aroused state during healing activity. This shift of consciousness and physiology within the healer appears to be linked to the healing.
The role of specific techniques or discipline The study of modalities is a part of the development of the healer as identified above. It doesn't seem to matter what the system
is as long as the healer is well trained in some discipline. Great healers exist in all traditions as do skilled but ineffective healers. According to one study, by investigating technique, "participants learned the process of giving up control, letting go of fear, developing courage, preparing self, engaging in self-reflection, and developing confidence." Healers need a basic back-
ground in energy anatomy as well as physical anatomy and physiology. The trained healer learns to channel energy and turn that flow of energy on and off with accuracy (RB, KW). Quinn however acknowledges that "often the techniques are just a
cover, a way of getting in." The real requisites of healing are compassion, focus, and intention, regardless of technique.

Dr. theol.

Conventional science has worked on the first (chemical and practical) two levels of existence and consciousness in a limited linear fashion.
It has not included the nonlinear mystical level and the Divine level of existence.
