Zitate von D. Hawkins – Seminare und Radiointerviews

⚠ Achtung Siehe Power vs. Truth (engl.) Januar 2013

Februar 2004

Dezember 2004

Audiointerview The Meaning and Purpose of Life, präsentiert von dem aufgelösten US-amerikanischen Webradiosender
"Beyond the Ordinary", Gastgeberinnen Nancy Lorenz und Elena Young, 60 Minuten Dauer, gesendet 11. Januar 2005
By your own agreement and choices you are aligned with the giant electromagnetic field of infinite power. Your karma, your destiny,
is solely in your hands (which is what people are scared to hear). What you choose to be changes your charge. Nothing happens
    by accident nor could it.

Houston Seminar The Realization of the Presence of God, Unity Church, Texas, 11. Oktober 2003
Actually, there is only ONE variable. This can be either present or absent. You can be pro something without hating those who aren't. Goodness is either present, or not (as opposed to saying that good and evil exist). There is only good or its absence. There is the presence or the absence of light, not light and dark.

Sedona Seminar Thought and Ideation, 3 DVD-Set, 28. Februar 2004
Being spiritual is not being dumb, you cannot trust people under 200, they want to kill you, eat you or sell you out.

Sedona Seminar Thought and Ideation, 3 DVD-Set, 28. Februar 2004

Was meint ihr?
Sedona Seminar Emotions and Sensations, 3 DVD-Set, 17. April 2004

Sedona Seminar Emotions and Sensations, 3 DVD-Set, 17. April 2004
The thing I had the most problems with was being indignant at non-integrity. You have to give up judgmentalism. The world as
it is serves a great purpose because we have the chance to transcend the ego; it's a purgatorial world.

Sedona Seminar Emotions and Sensations, 3 DVD-Set, 17. April 2004
Naïveté is the downside of the spiritual aspirant – a lot of people live in pure fantasy about spiritual development.

    textualisieren
, dass es verständlich und annehmbar ist.
Sedona Seminar Emotions and Sensations, 3 DVD-Set, 17. April 2004
There are three ways of presenting truth. Ethos, logos, pathos, Aristotle's approach, considers the ethic standing of the speaker,
the logic and dialectic of the speaker, and lastly the standing of the listener. You have to consider all three. The failure to take into consideration where the audience is at means that you fall flat. It's not getting across. You have to contextualize a thing so that it's comprehensible and acceptable.

Sedona Seminar Identification and Illusion, 3 DVD-Set, 14. August 2004
Life is not evil; it's just deficient. It needs to get in order to live. That's how the animal brain arose, as life discovered that it had to
go get in order to survive. Animals below 200 are all voracious. Above 200 their nature changes.

Sedona Seminar Identification and Illusion, 3 DVD-Set, 14. August 2004

Sedona Seminar Witnessing and Observing, 3 DVD-Set, 16. Oktober 2004
All morality and ethics are hated constraints against the freedom of the id, which seeks no accountability or responsibility.
Evil is projected onto some external cause. It feels superior to truth, to Divinity.

    Sedona Seminar Vision, 3 DVD-Set, 25. Februar 2005

Was 4000 v.
Sedona Seminar Vision, 3 DVD-Set, 25. Februar 2005
There is only one Absolute Reality, and it manifests itself in various dimensions. That which is revealed in 4000 B.C. India should
be the same in 1936 Chicago. Nobody owns truth. There is no mystery or secret about it. You are all going to be masters; that's a
fact. You will shine forth for generations to come.

    Sedona Seminar Vision, 3 DVD-Set, 25. Februar 2005
Question: How do you be compassionate without forming a judgment?
Answer: You see that it's the interaction of creation and how karma unfolds. You are already that, otherwise it wouldn't be in you
    to ask this question.

    nungen bezahlen und den Mülleimer leeren? Niemand. Die Leute werden sagen, dass du total verrückt geworden seist, was natürlich auch so ist. Es wird ein Zeitpunkt kommen, an dem das Feuer in deinen Eingeweiden auflodert;
Sedona Seminar Vision, 3 DVD-Set, 25. Februar 2005
Be prepared in case spiritual reality moves much faster than you anticipated. Who's going to pay the bills and empty the waste-
basket now? Nobody. People will say you've gone crazy, gone totally mad, and of course you have. There's a point at which you
get a fire in the belly; spiritual growth takes priority over everything.
    Someone asked: Even me?
    Hawkins' reply: Yes, even you.

    Sedona Seminar Alignment, 3 DVD-Set, 16. April 2005
The ego cannot transcend itself. Only the Spiritual Will can do that. Spiritual Will calibrates at 850. Addiction has been around for millions of years. What’s your Reason at 400 going to do against that? Reason is linear. The Spiritual Will is nonlinear. When we
turn to Divinity, that’s humility, that’s surrender.

    Sedona Seminar Alignment, 3 DVD-Set, 16. April 2005

Sedona Seminar God vs. Science. Limits of the Mind, 3 DVD set, 17. February 2007
Once you discover something of great value to mankind, you can’t really rest until you get the message out there. That is the
    reason why I teach.

  • Question: Will you check to see if I should keep my job in the prison?
    Answer: There is no "should".
Prescott Seminar Freedom. Morality and Ethics, 3 DVD set, 8. November 2008

The evolution of consciousness is inevitable and it occurs because of its own nature, just as water always runs downhill. The consciousness level of Mankind is advancing inexorably. When we calibrated evolution and society, it's verifiably progressive.

Quotes by D. Hawkins – response to critic Carroll

Excerpts of D. Hawkins' rebuttal to the statements of the skeptical critic Carroll,
which had been debated on the discussion site of the Wikipedia entry on David Hawkins

The work of consciousness research and all the books I have written are to facilitate spiritual understanding and confirm the reality of spiritual truth in the individual as well as society, and to confirm the evolution of conscious-
ness
over eons of time via both the linear and the nonlinear expressions, and then to correlate the emergence of spiri-
tual awareness historically as expressed by the great avatars, saints, mystics, and Enlightened Teachers over the
millennia. My books and the lectures I have given worldwide for decades [...] are about consciousness and the road
to Enlightenment
, of which I am an acknowledged teacher.

That all discoveries have had their detractors is, of course, a valid fact, but their opinions did not disprove Galileo, Einstein, or Jonas Salk.

The narcissistic core of the ego concludes that anything it cannot comprehend must be wrong, rather than grasping, via humility, that the subject is beyond it. This limitation is inherent to the would-be critics of subparticle physics, quan-
tum mechanics, or the Theory of Relativity, and they are still unable to grasp the Heisenberg principle, which, for the first time in the history of science, delineates the impact of context and not just content.

[...] Descartes’ differentiation of res cogitans versus res externa (i.e., perception is not essence), or Socrates’ dictum of the illusory good (i.e., one’s own opinions [perceptions] versus the "real" good [truth]). This error is [...] the basic structure of the human mind itself.

I would not list an atheist as a qualified critic of any spiritual or religious literature by any author.

I [...] formally object to the inclusion of a blog-site reference in the Wikipedia entry on D. Hawkins from an avowed atheist who scorns all religion or spirituality. (emphasis added)

⚠ Caveat See Power vs. Truth, January 2013

  • No one is paddling your canoe except you! Audio interview The Meaning and Purpose of Life, presented by the suspended US American web radio station "Beyond the Ordinary", hosts Nancy Lorenz and Elena Young, 60 minutes duration, aired 11. January 2005

Devotional non-duality

  • Everything we see is spontaneously being what it is, exactly as it is, at this mo-
ment. For anything to be what it is at this moment, it has to fulfill its potentiality, which is innate to its creation and existence. If the universe stopped at this instant, everything would be perfect right now as it is. Each moment is therefore perfect.
Opening sentence of D. Hawkins' day lectures, multiple sources

  • You can't kill (nor eliminate) the ego. So don't even bother trying. Sedona Seminar Title unknown, month unknown, 2002

  • There is egotism in wallowing in guilt and suffering. This is NOT the way to God. It leads in the opposite direction.
Houston Seminar The Realization of the Presence of God, Unity Church, Texas, 11. October 2003

  • Guilt and self-flagellation are a kind of ego inflation.
Unity Church Houston, Texas, Seminar The Realization of the Presence of God, 11. October 2003

Note:

Hawkins calibrated CEOs on average at 199 up from 194 at around the beginning of the new millennia.

  • Companies run by women CEOs are considerably more profitable than those run by men CEOs. [Women have not participated in the non-integrous of the work place as long, and so bring a higher level of integrity, as a whole, in their postions. Sedona Seminar Thought and Ideation, 3 DVD set, 28. February 2004

Shame

  • If we don't get what we want, the approval we want, society's approval, we experience shame. Ultimately we end up in hell. In the bottom of hell, there
is eternal hopelessness, more ghastly than I can describe.
Sedona Seminar Emotions and Sensations, 3 DVD set, 17. April 2004

Guilt

  • Guilt is a denial of what the ego is craving. It's a fear of not getting our wanting-
ness. Sedona Seminar Emotions and Sensations, 3 DVD set, 17. April 2004

  • The source of your guilt is a consequence and a by-product of your own spiritual aspiration. Now the ego's energy
gets invested in the mind. The mind is a tool of the animal. It's interested in survival.
Sedona Seminar Emotions and Sensations, 3 DVD set, 17. April 2004

  • You don't have to think about being nice to people. You become that which is nice to people, and the being nice just arises from that field. It's an automatic consequence; it doesn't involve thinking.
Sedona Seminar Identification and Illusion, 3 DVD set, 14. August 2004

  • Hold yourself as unlimited. Look at yourself as a magnet, see yourself as magnetic attracting that which you value. What is held in mind as a wantingness tends to be repelled. If you see it because you appreciate it and love its value, then it tends to come to you. As a magnet, you don’t have anything to defend. That which you value, you
    tend to become.
Sedona Seminar Identification and Illusion, 3 DVD set, 14. August 2004

  • When you work with people with questionable energies, they will sense for your vulnerability, whichever chakra it is, whatever is involved with your karma. As Jesus taught, avoid these energies.
Sedona Seminar Witnessing and Observing, 3 DVD set, 16. October 2004

  • If you demonize the ego, you get paralyzed by guilt. Because your increase is the result of someone else's decrease.
Sedona Seminar Vision, 3 DVD set, 25. February 2005

  • Guilt should only be a sign, not a place to hang out. Sedona Seminar Alignment, 3 DVD-Set, 16. April 2005

  • Out of guilt, sometimes we choose to undo things we've done, for the sake of our spiritual growth. If we can see it in our consciousness to do so, we can undo much with strictly spiritual techniques. In a sense of culpability, we undo in action. Sedona Seminar Spiritual Traps, 3 DVD set, 15. October 2005

  • By exercise of the will, the conscience can then be PROHIBITED from becoming just another self-indulgent, wallowing-in-guilt, paradoxically egoistic perpetrator. Sedona Seminar God, Religion and Spirituality, 3 DVD set, 10. December 2005

  • What a great gift we are to each other. I look around the room, I realize every one of you is a gift; you know, every one of us is a blessing. We’re all a blessing to each other. What a tremendously, powerful group it is, a really, really, really powerful group. So we’re all thankful for each other and thankful for everyone here.
Sedona Satsang Q&A, Sedona Creative Life Center, 2 CD set, 10. May 2006

  • The greatest way to uplift people is by virtue of that which you yourself have become. By virtue of your presence, they are already uplifted and relieved. And you can see it in their eyes because suddenly the Self in them shines forth to the Self in you, and you know you are connected, forever actually. It’s forever.
Sedona Satsang Q&A, Sedona Creative Life Center, 2 CD set, 13. September 2006
