Consciousness researcher Professor Benjamin Libet of the University of California at San Francisco has shown that decisions are made by the subconscious mind 1/10,000 seconds prior to the moment when the conscious mind gets a hold of them.
The intellect is only conscious of
5-20 bits of information per second, whereas
the subconscious mind processes
11 million bits of information per second.

[*] In the universe there is an unmeasurable and, indescribable force which those who live "of the source" call intention. And that absolutely everything that exists in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a connecting link […] sorcerers are not
only concerned with understanding and explaining that connecting link but they are especially concerned with cleansing it of the
numbing affects brought about by all of the concerns of living at ordinary levels of consciousness.

As for replacing limiting or sabotaging beliefs in the subconscious mind Dr. Bruce Lipton suggests following methods:
1. Buddhist mindfulness meditation
2. Clinical hypnotherapy
3. Modern healing modalities: Thought Field Therapy / Energy psychology
4. Forgiving

According to the Ancient Greeks there are five stages of consciousness.
  1. Earth – the body of the brain
  2. Water – meditative consciousness
  3. Air – meditative consciousness in meditation distancing from thoughts
  4. Fire – meditative consciousness being charged with higher light
  5. Quintessence – a new basic mindset

Consciousness arises from interactions with our surroundings. [We are] always already in a shared context.

"If we seek to understand human or animal consciousness, then we ought to focus not on the brain alone but on the brain in context – that is, on the brain in the natural setting of the active life of the person or animal. For what we bearers of consciousness are […] depends on where we are and what we can do." Alva Noë, Ph.D. (*1964) US American professor of philosophy, cognitive scientist, theorist on perception and consciousness, UCB, Out of Our Heads. Innate horse wisdom – Four stages of effective usage of emotions

Stages of using emotions effectively
༺༻Emotions applied effectivelyChakraFunction
1.Feeling the emotion in its purest form2nd chakra Input
Stage 1: Subjected to the prevalent left-brained dominance/submission paradigm, humans deal immaturely with feelings and emotions.
Suppressing or expressing emotions are the two sides of a dysfunctional coin.
2.Deciphering the rational message/content riding on top of the emotion3rd chakra Output
3.Changing something in response to that messageLower 4th chakra Input
4.Letting go the feeling after having changed in response to its messageUpper 4th chakra Input
Stage 4: Dismissing emotions or getting immune to them by prematurely "surrendering" them is also a dysfunctional approach.
                Horses use emotions as information.
As a result of using emotions efficiently horses spend 99% of their day in the state of deep connection and peace.

Paradigms held on three essential perennial questions

Part 1 – Changing answers of group beliefs to
three essential questions affecting humanity's path
World viewParadigm keepersFocusBasic premise: Dichotomy SPIRIT ⇔ MATTER
AnimismIndigenous Tribes BALANCE Spirit and matter are interconnected. Hunter and prey are one and the same thing.
Spirit is found in everything, in all elements.
PolytheismPaganists + SPIRITBeginning separation of matter and spirit, spirit is separated from individuals.
Spirit coalesces into different Gods, resides in Gods.
MonotheismLeaders: churches, temples, mosques ++ SPIRIT Spirit is gone from Earth and poly-Gods into ONE removed God. Mechanical world. Matter was damned.

BALANCE
+ Spirit
Energy, fields, and context are superior. Everything is interconnected. Quantum physics (**)
Matter and energy are both important.
Evolution is not an accident. It is based upon cooperation in the biosphere. Evolution is not individually governed, but the result of an organization. Mankind is simultaneously (and spontaneously) shaped by the field (creation) and evolution (matter). New biology (***)

Part 2 – Changing answers of group beliefs to
three essential questions affecting humanity's path
World view How did we get here? What are we doing here? How do we best live human life?
Animism Mankind came into being through
Father Sky (energy) and
Mother Earth (matter).
Humans are to tend the Garden Earth. Live in harmony with nature!
Polytheism Mankind came into being
through Chaos (i.e. Big Bang).
Humans are to make order in life. Don't anger the Gods!
Monotheism Mankind came into being
by Divine intervention.
The Earth is a way station. The material universe doesn't matter. Live by the laws of revelatory scriptures, book religions!
Scientific materialism
Darwinism
Genetic determinism
Mankind came into being
by random genetic mutation.
Evolution is driven by accidents of genetic mutations. Become a noble savage!

(**) The field is the sole governing agency of the particle.
Albert Einstein (1879-1955) German-born US American theoretical physicist, developer of the theory of general relativity, Nobel laureate in physics, 1921

(**) As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clear headed science to the study of matter I can tell you as a result of my research about atoms this much – there is no matter as such. All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter.

Three stages of intimate relationships between men and women
༺༻ExpressionKey phraseDescription Timeline
1. Dependence relationship Men are men
and
women are women.
Old-style gender roles – Survival mode
Male chauvinist (killer male) and submissive girly girl
⚑ Imbalance of financial or physical power
Master/slave relationship is confused with real love.
⚑ Painful neediness for sex, domination, power (plays), and control
⚑ One partner is in control, the other partner sacrifices their authentic power in order to feel loved and accepted.
⚑ Partners depend on each other for money, emotional support, parenting, or sex.
Sterotypes
up until
the fifties
2. 50/50
relationship
Safe boundaries and
equal expectations
for men and women.
"Modern" style of relationship – Survival-Success mode
Softie (living his anima) and mannish woman (living her animus)
⚑ Two independent partners working out an equitable partnership via dialog
Striving for inner balance between their masculine and feminine qualities at home and at work.
⚑ Emphasis on feeling safe and setting boundaries.
⚑ Emphasis on communication.
⚑ Emphasis on 50/50 shared responsibilities and duties.
⚑ Each may have their own source of income.
⚑ Shadow: The more masculine or feminine sexual essence is being starved – followed by a loss of passion.

⚑ Most important: Steady consciously practicing loving, despite feeling hurt, rejected, or resistant.

Whoever begins new things is unsuspecting, until he is hurt and heartbroken. This shatters the naive idealism.
2.

Knowing that the world and people are not perfect the orphan archetype longs to belong to community.
Being the outsider of the clique he wants to be 'adopted',
have friendships, and love relationships.
So the orphan 'settles' for broken love.

The Pilgrim archetype leaves behind the safety net of mainstream society, gives up his safe job, and the prospect of an accountable life, in order to follow a vision quest to discover who he is.
Examples: Moses, Mohammed, Jesus, Buddha, King Lear, Hamlet went out into the wilderness to find the truth of their being.

The balance of the twin-archetypes of Warrior and Lover is crucial when it comes to fighting for the things he loves,
declaring, 'This is who I am. This is what I believe, and for which I stand up.' The truly loving Lover aspect is prepared to risk his life as a warrior standing up for his convictions.

Slowing downwards to the roots of one's being
'Slow' and 'down' are modes of the soul; they are connective modes, ways of keeping connected to oneself and to one's environment. 'Slowing downwards' refers to more than simply moving slowly, it means growing down towards the roots of one’s being. Instead of outward growth and upward climb, life at times must turn inward and downward in order to grow in other ways. There is a shift to the vertical down that re-turns us to root memories, root metaphors, and timeless things that shape our lives from within. Slowing downwards creates opportunities to dwell more deeply in one’s life, for the home we are looking for in this world is within us all along. The lost home that we are seeking is ourselves; it is the story we carry within our soul.
Michael Meade Mosaicvoices.org US American storyteller, scholar of mythology, psychology, anthropology, ritualist, spokesman in
the men's movement, author, Why the World Doesn't End. Tales of Renewal in Times of Loss, Greenfire Press, 30. October 2012

It’s not good versus evil; it’s that which is more evolved versus that which is less evolved.
Dr. David R. Hawkins, Sedona Seminar Emotions and Sensations, 3 DVD set, 17. April 2004

Note: Secondary psychopaths called sociopaths, lacking empathy, have deadened their conscience
which allows them to act unethically towards others around them repeatedly. Willfully exploiting,
deceiving, cheating and harming others, they have no remorse for their actions.

Value Study by sociologist Paul H. Ray (1986-1999)
Newly emerging population groups: the Cultural Creatives / the Spiritually Awakening
Based on 13 years of survey research with 100,000 proponents among 100 focus groups and dozens of interviews US American sociologists Paul H. Ray, Ph.D., US American sociologist, founding partner of Integral Partnerships, con-
sultant of Cultural Creatives, author and his wife psychologist Sherry Ruth Anderson, Ph.D. issued and presented
this long-term value study at the break of the millennium.

Ray / Anderson posit that hidden within America so called cultural creatives are emerging (50+ million people). Demographics are shifting. Hence the distribution (%) of different value groups within the US population is shifting.

The crucial error of the romantic view

[✰][❄] The Romantic view is that the infant starts out in a state of unconscious Heaven. [...] [T]he infant self is actually one with the dynamic Ground of Being – but in an unconscious (or "un-self-conscious") fashion. Thus, unconscious Heaven – blissful, wonderful, mystical, the paradisiacal state out of which ist will soon fall, and to which it will always long to return. [...]
[S]ometime in the first few years of life, the self differentiates from the environment, the union with the dynamic Ground
is lost, subject and object are separated, and the self moves from unconscious Heaven into conscious Hell – the world
of egoic alienation, repression, terror, tragedy.
But, the happy account continues, the self can make a type of U-turn in development, sweep back to the prior infantile, union state, re-unite with the great Ground of Being, only now in a fully conscious and self-actualized way, and thus find conscious Heaven.
Ken Wilber (*1949) US American transpersonal philosopher, consciousness researcher, thought leader of the 3rd millennium, developer of Integral Theory, author, The Eye of Spirit. An Integral Vision for a World Gone Slightly Mad, chapter "The Romantic View", S. 95, Shambhala Publications, 1998

Example of true love/friendship in action – accepting full responsibility coupled with full dependency

Firstly, I am fully responsible for everything, secondly, however, I am fully dependent on the other. […] One wants to dismiss both of these insights as contradictory. For many the simultaneousness of full responsibility (also for acts of their partners against them) and full dependency on their (private) dreams, thoughts, decisions seems unbearable. It means to let the unconscious become conscious, to accept that our unconscious actions are entwined. Michael Lukas Moeller, German psychologist, couple therapist, Die Wahrheit beginnt zu zweit.

Three kinds of friendships commonly practiced – Aristotle
Type of friendshipBackdropExampleConditionDuration
1.Friendship for pleasure "For a reason" Two people discover that they have common interests in an activity which they can pursue together. Two tennis players might enjoy playing in matches together. As long as the pleasure continues
2.Friendship grounded on utility "For a season" Two people can benefit by engaging in a coordinated activity. One person teaches the other to play tennis for a fee. One benefits by learning, the other benefits financially. As long as mutual utility is secured
3.Friendship for the good "For a lifetime" Two people engage in common activities solely for the sake of developing the overall goodness of the other. Here, neither pleasure nor utility are relevant, but the good is. 6 Two people with heart disease might play tennis with each other for the sake of the exercise that contributes to the overall health of both. The good is never wholly realized. Principally lasting for a lifetime
4.Asymmetric friendships Unsteady One party is seeking a certain payoff while the other seeks a different one.  Inherently unstable, prone to dissatisfaction

Resilience ratio: Two thirds unconscious ⇔ one third awakening

The Austrian psychotherapist and Nazi concentration camp survivor Viktor Frankl found meaning in his intense suffering. The spiritual / soul life strengthened the camp prisoners, helped them adapt, and so improved their chances of survival. It
was a matter of the attitude of the prisoners who had a better chance to survive camp.

Psychoanalyst, child psychologist, and Nazi concentration camp survivor Bruno Bettelheim (1903-1990) found the sociological tripartition formula applicable to those who are faced with an extreme crisis in life. He published his
findings in his book The Informed Heart. Autonomy in a Mass Age in 1979:

  1. One third of the people deported to the camps died during the transport – out of fear to starve.
  2. The other third died in the camp when food was short, life was hard-hard, and trust was low.
  3. The last third had a chance to survive as they kept trusting in an inviolable instance within themselves.

Bread and games keep the masses going.
When survival and play are jeopardized TRUST into the unknown becomes an essential asset.

Three kinds of reaction patterns when faced with traumatic conditions
Tripartition"Bread and games" metaphorReactionBehaviorExemplified by death camp survivors
1st third Without BREAD they are incapable to ...!They cannot. Giving·up One third of the Jews and Sinti who were deported into Nazi death camps died during the transportation out of fear and the uncertain prospect of living in a death camp.
2nd third Without GAMES that ordinary people play they are unwilling to ...!They don't want to. Drying·up The second third died during the death camp imprisonment, because conditions there were unbearable for them.
3rd third With hardly any BREAD and GAMES they ENDURE the hardship.
___________________
TRUST in what is happening despite the hardship is the trump that lets people survive amidst the hardest circumstances.
They endure the situation patiently and trustingly.
___________________
When the Tipping Point is reached, Transformation is at hand.
Keeping·it·up The last third was released in miraculous ways or else it survived the tortures of personal disempowerment until they were freed by Allied troups. Those who were free men again owe this to the power of their mind and soul, their unswerving trust in their destiny and their physical discipline.

Note:

These recommentations conincide with the lower and middle rungs of the pyramid of needs created by the US American psychologist Abraham Maslow.

Austrian-born author Bruno Bettelheim suggested:

  1. Eat/drink what's available.
  2. Excrement regularly.
  3. Stay up and present.
  4. Read whatever you can read.
  5. Try to communicate under adverse conditions.

Three kinds of people:
༺♥༻ Immovables
༺♥༻ Movables
༺♥༻ Moving ones

All mankind is divided into three classes:
  1. Those that are immovable,
  2. those that are movable,
  3. and those that move.

Note:
♦◊♦ The Greek philosopher Socrates lived by the guidance of his inner voice (daemon). A two thirds majority of the committee in Athens
sentenced him to death (by hemlock poison) in 399 BC.
♦◊♦ Two thirds of the US Americans favor prosperity over fairness [social justice]. [Status 2011]
♦◊♦ The apocalyptic Revelation (last book of the New Testament) refers to the 2/3 ⇔ 1/3 ratio:
Two thirds of mankind will perish whereas
a third of mankind will rise after having endured the shortened "tribulation" period.

Note:         Controversial status of Bruno Bettelheim
A spirit adverse Freudian, Bettelheim had survived the Nazi death camps in Buchenwald and Dachau. At the end
of his career, at age 86, he committed suicide. His death wish, he explained as such: "The problem is finding a reason
to live
."
It became painfully apparent that his writings and his actions were not congruent in the long run.7

Former students accused Bettelheim in print of
➤ having created an atmosphere of terror in his famous school,
➤ emotional and physical brutality and sexual abuse. Scholars accused him of
➤ plagiarism, and stories of falsified credentials (falsified curriculum vitae) and
➤ shoddy research.
Bettelheim
➤ invented accomplishments,
➤ academic degrees,
➤ connections with people in high places [such as Sigmund Freud, Eleanor Roosevelt], and
➤ professional training and experience that either had no basis in reality or else were gross exaggerations.
His repeated attacks of mothers of disturbed children were nourished by a culture pervaded by blind faith in a simplistic
Freudianism
and a wish to find easy answers. What allowed the perpetuation of the Bettelheim myth, was hero worship.8
